While this product is oil-free, there are natural essential oils contained in the formula that are listed on the ingredients declaration. Essential oils are different from conventional oils despite including the name oil in their name. Further, they will not clog pores as they evaporate off the surface of the skin. We Formulate Without: 1,500+ ingredients in compliance with the EU's stringent regulations. In addition, we are also free of: Parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde and formaldehyde-releasing agents, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), mineral oil, petrolatum, paraffin, diethanolamine (DEA), polyethylene beads and animal ingredients (except cruelty-free honey and beeswax in select formulas). We are Vegetarian and also offer many formulas that are Vegan (free of animal-derived ingredients). This pore-clearing cleanser is appropriate for daily use. Massage onto damp skin AM and PM, avoiding the eyes, until gel lathers. Rinse and pat dry.
